I must admit before I start this post I’m not a huge lover of pork, I don’t mind a bit of roast pork with roast potatoes on a Sunday but other than that I can take it or leave it.However there areĀ  lots of gorgeous recipe’s for this particular meat and I’m dying to share a few with you.As I may have said before I’m a huge fan of spicy food and i have managed to turn a humble pork chop into a spice lover dream, read on to see how and also to see another couple of good easy pork chop recipe’s.

Spicy Pork chop’s

Ingredients

  1. 1tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, vinegar and lemon juice
  2. 2tbsp of tomato puree paste
  3. 3 pork chops
  4. 2 small onions
  5. Salt and Black pepper
  6. 300 ml of chicken stock
  7. 1tbsp of dry ginger and mustard

Preperation

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl apart from the pork and the onions and stock
  2. Add a little oil to a pan and heat then add the pork chops and cook until brown on both sides and transfer to a bowl
  3. Fry the onions and then add them to the pork chops in the bowl
  4. Add the stock and seasoning mix to the pan and bring to the boil
  5. Pour mix over the chops and add them to the oven at 180Oc for 40 minutes
  6. Serve

 

I love a good BBQ and I do have some good BBQ pork chop recipes, here is just one that I have made.

Ingredients

  1. 3-4 pork chops
  2. Salt
  3. Black Pepper
  4. Pinch of cayenne Pepper
  5. Some Worcestershire sauce

Preperation

  1. Score the pork chops
  2. Add Worcestershire sauce and pepper and salt to a bowl
  3. Add the pork chops to this mixture and leave to soak for at least 10 minutes
  4. Place on grill over high heat and cook until they start to char
  5. Add a sprinkle of cayenne pepper
  6. Serve

Most of these are easy pork chop recipes and can be made by anyone regardless of know how.

 

Oriental Pork Chops

I do love a bit of a spicy dish and this can be made to be as spicy as you wish just add either more or less of the ingredients to suit your taste.

Ingredients

  1. 2tbsp of Honey
  2. 4 tbsp of soy sauce
  3. A dash of lemon juice
  4. 1 tbsp of olive oil
  5. Salt
  6. Black Pepper
  7. A dash of Cayenne Pepper

 

Preperation

  1. Add your first six ingredients from the list above into a bowl and then stir
  2. Once your lovely mix is created add your chops and put in the fridge for a couple of hours
  3. Take pork out of bowl and add to a high heat grill and cook for 10 minutes
  4. Add Cayenne pepper and serve.
